This store is just around the corner from my apartment and they have everything. Mr and Mrs Zegeer are always super helpful and the place is super clean. I shop here because they are a local family that has not abandoned the East End for some strip mall.

I can't see the 1 star review but it can't be fair. They are not a national chain but they are a decently stocked local store

It used to be a nice dependable little hardware store. Today I went to buy something and was there at the time it was supposed to open (as the sign says) at 9 am. I with 5 other cars was waiting for someone to unlock the door. By 9:15 am there was still no employee there. I thought maybe someone had an emergency but found out from another person waiting that this is normal for them now.... they open whenever the mood hits them. I will now drive an extra couple of miles to Ace Hardware on Washington Street West to buy things I need. They OPEN at 8:00 am & I know I can depend on that.
