Food is good here and plentyful, but the cost is ridiculously pricey! $80 per Adult!!!You can't eat $80 worth! I expect a sharp decline in their business as the newness wares off and the prices soar on a yearly basis.

I live in Macon, Ga. but was born and raised in Connecticut, graduated from the University of Vermont in 1953, have been coming to "The Lodge" for so many years that I can't remember how long. That is a sign of my age. I visit in CT. at least 4 times a year and my sons (2) take me at least twice each visit to The Lodge. In my youth I could eat 6 lobsters but now only 3. I will be visiting in Oct./06 and I'm already salivating. These southerners don't have a clue as to what good New England seafood Is -they have no idea what they are missing.
