I took my dog in once before after hearing all the great reviews about Joan, the owner. She did a good job the first time I took my Bishon in. Then the second time someone else groomed her. She was out side smoking when I walked up with my dog at my appointment time and was very rude! When I got home I saw a cut on her stomach! So I called back up there right away and got the girl who groomed her, who was VERY rude when I explained there was a cut on my dog. I called back the next day and left a message for Joan, the owner, explaining what happened and NEVER received a call back!! Not a way to run a business! Would NOT recommend anyone to go there!

The owner and groomers at Animal Artistry truly love and understand dogs. It's a cage free environment so as soon as they are done they get to play with the other visitors. My dog always leaves looking beautiful and happy. I highly recommend Animal Artistry.

I have two cats and a dog, and have never had a less than great experience with Joan and her staff. My dog is not great around other dogs, but Joan has never had a problem with her - she really knows how to handle animals!

When we vacationed and had our dog in the kennel, I picked her up only to find out her nails had not been trimmed because they said she was hard to handle and tried to bite them, Joan trims her nails and cleans her ears everytime with no problem.

I have reccomended her to many people, all of whom have said they were very pleased and have continued to patronize Animal Artistry.

They're the best in my book!

When I picked up my pet she looked adorable. I took her home and walked her and noticed her hair was not smooth. I picked her up and went home and brushed her. I was shocked to find that you could see where different blades had been used. Her hair was not smooth at all! Her legs had not been trimmed...........at all. Her ears and face were perfect but the body work was a joke! After reading the other reviews there is absolutely NO doubt that Joan did not groom my dog. It is very, very upsetting to think that she would allow someone who did not know what they were doing (in training) to work for her! I spent fifty dollars, including a five dollar tip. Do not waste your money.

A friend recommended Animal Artistry for our new Puppy. They did a fabulous job. You could tell they really enjoyed thier work and were very professional. The all dogs seemed to really enjoy it there too. I love that they allow the dogs to hang out instead of always being caged up. The location is close to the house which is always a plus. They are a great value too.

Joan has been taking care of both my dogs for close to seven (7) years...when she moved from Piper Glen to open her own shop, we followed. If possible, she is even better now :-) Her ability, talent and love for my dog is openly evident and she takes such good care of my Ally that I refuse to let anyone else bath or groom her. Joan's staff is also top notch and when I went to pick Ally up after her first visit I practically had to pry her out of the shop she was having so much fun :-) No matter what kind of animal you have, if it needs grooming, Animal Artistry is the place to go :) :-0 :-) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The owner used to work at the Piper Glen Animal Hospital, and they highly recommend her. Since she had more availability than the hospital, I decided to give it a shot. She was awesome! She know how to groom properly (does not cut claws too short or hurt our Shaggy) and she blows dry rather than cage drying (very important).



Additionally, for a small fee, you can drop your dog off for the day, and they will be sure to walk him. This was very convenient as both me and my wife work full time. It is nice to know he is not locked up in some kennel, but that he has care and is walked. It's worth the little bit of extra money when we need to leave him.



We will continue taking Shaggy to Animal Artistry because we know they will care for him!
