Provided by YP.comI heard about CARS from a friend. Today, I took my car in for a tune-up, they were reasonably priced and did an excellent job.
I was a bit aprehensive at first, because I was greeted by two women. Trusting my friend's recommendation, I stayed and went through the process. The shop is middle of the road, not dark and dingy like some, but not show room like others. It felt like a local mechanic shop that my dad or grandpa would have taken their car to. The office area is welcoming and casual as are the employees.
There is a large window that runs the length of the waiting area and looks into the garage. The garage area was well kept, it looked like a place where people work. Frequently used tools were out in carts, one or two on the floor. There was a cardboard out on the floor where I assume someone lay for something other than a nap. I looked at the huge silver toolbox in the center of where they had my car, and I wondered what was in it and thought it must have cost a bundle for the box and all the tools I assume are in it! Surprisingly, the box belonged to Rosa, the small woman who worked on my car. I thought, "She must have been doing this for a long time to have tools like that"!!!
There was no high pressure sales, they explained the reasons for the performance problems I was having, offered solutions and only implemented what I requested. For a repair-shop-avoider like me, this was a great experience, I have been to many repair shops over the years and I think I have FINALLY found the ONE for me!!!!!
If you are needing any work done to your car try these guys (or gals) first.
