I purchased electrical outlet covers from Graybar Charlotte on Wilkinson drive approximately 2 days ago. Upon leaving the counter, I left them with my credit card number and was told that they would give me a call when the items were ready for pickup. The items arrived today (9-9-11) and there was no credit card receipt attached. I have not signed for any amount so I was not sure of the amount they charged. I called and spoke to the receptionist who transferred me to billing. I told the lady (Joanne or Jane) that I needed a copy of my credit card receipt. She said "do you know the amount?" I explained to her that I did not and had just left the counter my credit card number and they told me they would call me thereafter. She said, "Well I can't help you." I asked her what did she mean. "She said without an amount, I can not help you." I told her I needed a copy of the receipt. I then told her I had a po number. I gave the po number to her and she stated, "It is not showing up in my file so I can not help you." Again, I asked her what do you mean? I told her well I am just going to have to dispute it with my credit card company. She stated, "If you can dispute it with your credit card company, then you know the amount." I told her not to be a smart a.. She wanted to continue to argue, so I told her I was just going to drive to the store. Upon reaching the store, I tried to convey the issue to the counter and tell them how rude the person on the phone was. The counter agent took me up the elevator to talk to a "manager." His name was Mike and he was wearing a yellow polo shirt. I tried to explain the situation to him and let him know I needed a receipt, as well as how rude his agent was to me. He told me that finding my receipt was like "Looking for a needle in a haystack." I told him I have been in customer service for over 15 years and can never tell my customer something like that. I try to help all of my guests no matter what. He told me "He could not help me, and opened the door." I asked him to get me my credit card receipt and he said, "Do you want me to show you the door?"



I have never been treated so rudely by any number of people at a business. This store is a horrible representative of your product and brand.
