Joseph W. Grier Academy serves students in kindergarten through grade five. The school has a staff of more than 85 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes math and literacy facilitators, instructional assistants, media specialists, school advocates, talent development and technology instructors, art and music professionals, and health and physical education instructors. Joseph W. Grier Academy maintains various school organizations, including a character council, safety team, and art and chess clubs. It conducts several cocurricular activities, such as field trips, picture days, book fairs, fall festivals and talent shows.
