A good alternative to the ER however... These clinics usually have great staff, but unfortunately it is a very corporate run company that has no idea how to run their clinics. They have all these ideas but dont take care of their employees actually taking care of the patients. Usually they are short staffed and can't keep their employees because they overwork them and many times there will be just one nurse running the floor. The computer you check in on also triggers automatic testing so be weary and aware of what tests you're getting and why and be prepared to pay. Employees are forced to do these tests and now BCBS has picked up on the unnecessary testing and have dropped them out of network. If you're not there for allergies or a runny nose, don't let them do an allergy test on you! Hint- request to see the provider FIRST before anything is done.
