Having recently moved here and not knowing anyone, I was unsure where to take my bicycle for what I thought might be a badly needed tune-up. My Litespeed sat in a friend’s house for the last 2 years and I thought that perhaps a major tune-up was in order.



I first went to a local bike shop, who without even assessing my bike’s condition stated that my bike indeed needed a major tune-up at a cost of about $200.00. Of course I was quite suspicious and skeptical in that they did not even take a look at the bicycle.



I walked out and drove over to Performance and was sent to the back to see ‘Dave’. I told him my situation, he pretty much dropped what he was doing and checked out my bike up on a stand. He disagreed about the bike needing any tune-up at all.

He replaced the tubes, made a couple of adjustments, and lubed some of the moving parts. He said that was all that my bike needed as it was in very good condition.



It was refreshing to see honesty and integrity instead of trying to be conned. Kudos to you Dave, Tim, and Performance staff! You have a new and loyal customer for all my cycling needs!
