I have been going to Jason to get my hair cut for years( but everyone in the salon is great). I get asked so much about my hair i actually carry Salon 42 cards in my purse. So if you are looking for great hair and an all around great salon this is where you should be going.

After my stylist moved to Arizona I was looking for a new one in town and found Jason Viers through his wife Cara Viers from the dance dept. of the Harris Y) and his newly founded salon, Salon 42 (used to be Dilworth Hair). Jason has a cheerful, upbeat quirkiness to him! He clearly has never worked a day in his life because he simply LOVES what he does, don't we all want that!?. He's good at it, he takes his time to hear you and he fits right in in the ambiance of his Salon, edgy but comfortable at the same time. The music in the salon rocks and his staff are always "on". No Eyeores here, only Tiggers. Now my husband and two daughters also go there and we love it. His rates are reasonable and I have never had a scheduling issue. It's located right next door to RuSan's, parking is a breeze and is in easy reach of both South Charlotte and Uptown alike.

I was looking for a new stylist and especially one that was good with color and natural curly hair. Was extremely pleased with the time and care that the owner Jason took with my hair, I got exactly what I wanted. The salon is great, very upbeat and welcoming. Extremely clean

I have been to so many different stylists and no one has been able to get my hair the way I wanted it. I went there one time and it is perfect. Ask for Jessica she is wonderful. She knows exactly what to do and how to do it. She also offers great tips. Check it out you will not be disappointed!
