i purchased a room thru groupon.com for special rate and they asked for my credit card at check in for incidentals. we did not use any additional service and when i checked my credit card purchases a charge appeared for 39.00. i called and they said i had to talk with the hotel manager, i left a message did not hear back. so called again and they told me it was for bar drinks? we did not purchase any drinks. i called back and they said i need to talk with accounts payable. what concerns me is that someone used my card to buy drinks.i left several messages and heard nothing back. the hotel was nice, pool table. offered use of swimming pool and sauna across the street. room was nice and staff was great. but found out that they used my credit card to pay for someone elses bar tab. finally was told that my card would be credited back. just goes to show you dont trust anyone with your card
