Provided by YP.comMy twin boys having been attending Starks Pediatrics for eight (8) years. We are pleased with the personalized care we receive in a warm, welcoming atmosphere--there's a sea life motif throughout the office setting with an eye catching fish tank in the lobby (prepare to be "wooed"). It is rare when children look forward to going to the doctor's office but Dr. Starks and her staff are relational and family centered. Dr. Starks is attentive to the boys' medical needs and spends time explaining any recommendations provided in simplified terms. Her staff are equally prompt and display a high level of professionalism. I cannot imagine my family receiving care any place else and my only complaint is when the boys turn 18--they are 11 years old now--we will have to find another medical home. Until then, their health needs will be attended to by Starks Pediatrics.

Provided by YP.comDecor is really cute but the male receptionist was not friendly at all. I think I barely received eye contact when my insurance card was handed back to me. The nurse who called us back didn't seem very friendly either, she didn't even introduce herself but did smile as she interacted with my daughter. 10:15am appt, Exam Room at 10:45am, seen by doctor at 11am. Doctor didn't introduce herself either as this was our first time to her office, I felt that was a little odd. Seemed rushed and didn't ask us if we had any other questions or concerns. Overall, my first impression is not great but I will be going back in July and hope to see a different side of the staff or I will be taking my daughter elsewhere.

Provided by YPmobileThe worst doctor ever. I took my son when he was sick they send some samples to the lab and the doctor never called me. After a week of my calling finally I got a receptionist tell me the lab results. When I visited the office it was too hot so I told the receptionist it was hot and she said that could not turn on the ac and the temp was 77. When I went in the room it was even hotter I told the doctor and she said oh yeah this room gets pretty hot. In my understanding the hotter it is the quickly tge bacteria grow. that's why hospitals and clinics are cold. they do not have a well area and sick area so if you are there for a well visit you will take your child back home sick with contact with all the sick kids.
Also she got a sample of my sons throat just to tell me that they were out of strep tests. But that she can give me a prescription for strep throat. I WILL NOT GIVE MY SON DRUG FOR NOT REASON! I told her no! That I rather wait to find out the lab results but she never called me.
I ask for a chiropractic referral and she told me she don't believe in the work they do so she will not send my son to the chiropractic.
What kind of doctor don't believe in other doctors. I wonder if she believes in destist?

Provided by YP.comDr. Starks is very personable and makes sure she spends time talking with you to find out everything you are concerned about with your child. She takes her time and does not rush you in and out of the office which makes a big difference. Most Pediatricians are so busy their assistants do all the work and they come in a take a quick look and send you on your way. You don't have to worry about that with Dr. Starks she makes your visit for you and your child very pleasant and makes you want to come back.
