Sadly, there's a sucker born every minue and it appears many of them are members of this cult.

Lots of money collecting, very little "preaching", and THAT small bit (performed by Sweet, Sweet, Sweet, Precious Daddy Bailey himself) was mostly criticism with a threat thrown in about being cursed by God for not giving up the loot. A phrase I heard at the church: Jesus died for our sins and God sent Daddy Bailey to do the rest. I wanted to jump up and ask what "the rest" was.

No BIBLE I've ever read said anything about God sending someone "to do the rest". I have, however, read scripture about Jesus turning out the money changers (John 2:13-16), which is probably banned scripture at UHOP. I'm guessing the number of Biblical warnings about false prophets is another topic they shy away from. Titus 1:6-16 seems to be the most relevant in this instance.

Basically, I was incredulous that so many intelligent-APPEARING ADULTS praised this arrogant man as if it was the correct and proper thing to do. (That old saying about not judging a book by its cover?) These people are brainwashed to the NTH DEGREE. They need to get swiftly to a place of worship that TEACHES the BIBLE and encourages ADULTS to think for themselves. Maybe those places are few and far between but they do exist.

Sheep follow the herder. How many if them would jump from a bridge if Daddy Bailey said jump? I'm betting 99.9 percent because these people are beyond reason.

The Ten Commandments opens with God telling us HE is the Lord our God and we should have no other God before Him. NO other God before HIM.

Replacing Jesus' name in songs with "Daddy"; dancing around and down aisles, arms raised heavenward with paper money in hands raised in salute, to be given to Daddy; people screaming and hollering, speaking in tongues as the band hyped it all up...

It was a circus dedicated to the praise and worship of DADDY, certainly not to our most reverent God, He who told us in his Commandments that we should have NO other God before HIM.

I do not know how the lavish, over-the-top squandering of offerings on an excessive lifestyle, by "Sweet Daddy Bailey" and his minions can be justified. Those barely making ends meet are expected to give until it hurts yet that isn't how the top people live. Can just one person explain to me how these "Men of God" mirror the loving, compassionate, humble, sacrificial, life that Jesus lived and called us to? Explain to me how their space is considered "sacred" and how they live the foot-washing servants attitude of the Savior they profess to follow. How does sitting on a throne or being carried through the streets convey love & humility? It is people like them that cause Christianity to be mocked. Shame on them and wake up congregation; you are being duped.
