Zero stars would be more appopriate here. I was in town visiting old friends and family this past weekend and went in to CK nails for a French manicure on Saturday. I was told repeatedly that I needed to get a gel manicure (more than double the cost) that would last much longer, up to 3 weeks. Despite my lack of time, I gave in. I have had many great gel manicures in the past that truly do last for at least two weeks. NOT HERE. The manicure was SLOPPY to begin with and by Wednesday was almost completely peeled and cracked off. I called to give them a chance to make it right (a refund in this case since I returned to Texas). I was told that it doesn't work that way and that they never give refunds. He says "it's not good business". He said that I could come back in and IF they decided that it was their mistake, they could fix the problem spots. Whoa.. In my mind THAT is very bad business.

I came to ck for the fist time today as I live North of town and usually go up that way but I will now come to Barracks Road for my pedis. They do them the way they should be done, spent a lot of time on cuticle removal and trimming around the nails. Other places barely push the cuticle at all. Great pedi at a great price.
