Dr Freedman has always treated me with kindness, respect and loving care from the time I was only a puppy to my final years as an adult. Richard comforted me showing compassion and he knew when I was feeling blue or it was more intense. I could only hope that my human pack would have doctors with the same high ethics and values as shown to me as a husky. What is most important is how Dr. Freedman relates to the animals he cares for and keeps them of sound body and never in pain. It takes a special type of VMD who can understand the medical problems of animals considering that we can't tell you what's wrong. Ashley, the receptionist who took care of me, truly came to my cat's rescue. She was the only one, that when I called and explained my cat's condition of peeing blood, took it seriously enough to tell me to come in right away instead of stating the clinic had no openings. Dr. Freedman took my cat right away even though he was extremely busy. He looked over my cat thoroughly and was extremely personable with my cat and I. I felt very well cared for and I will definitely go back there and recommend him and AVHCC to other people. Dr. Freedman is no nonsense and gets the job done.
