I called them because we've had a leak in our upstairs bathroom in the past, and I thought we were having another incident. Unfortunately, there was no access panel to our shower (bad builder I guess), and the plumber, while courteous and neat, told me that the only way he could tell if there was a leak was to cut a hole in the ceiling. I really hesitated, because I knew it would be a costly repair, but he said there was no other way to tell if there was a leak. I was pretty sure there was, having gone through this before. He cut a hole, said there was no leak, and left me with a hole in my kitchen ceiling to repair. I later talked to someone else who asked why they didn't just use a moisture probe. I feel like a fool for trusting what I thought was a professional service, when it turns out they don't really know what they are doing! I paid over $200 for them to ruin my ceiling, and now I have to hire and pay someone to fix that! Worst of all, there was no leak.
