Glenwood Middle School provides educational opportunities for students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes math, physical education, language arts, science and social studies. The school also conducts various extracurricular activities that include drama, music, band and chorus. Glenwood Middle School organizes several sports activities, such as baseball, cross-country, softball, basketball and cheerleading. In addition, it operates industrial technology, speech and yearbook clubs. The school has a student council, parent-teacher organization and the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. Glenwood Middle School also offers food, guidance counseling, special education and transportation services. It is a part of Ball-Chatham School District 5, which operates elementary, middle and high schools.
