The old lady bar tender with grey hair told me she didn't have time to serve me she was "to busy"
If your going to dance and be with people it's great for that. If your going to drink don't waste your money, their drinks have nothing in them!

Alan Golds has been around for few decades and has never and never will play hip hop/rap or r&b... as a dj of the club and not the one that was spoken about, we all take requests and as a courtesy you SHOULD tip your dj... if you were a dj, you would expect the same and for a number of years, only a select few have complained about it... and obviously the people who have complained about don't frequent the club enough to know or for that matter CARE about policy of what music can and will be played... did the dj go.overboard with the ranting?... maybe, but knowing him like I do, the person MORE THAN LIKELY deserved it and probably came across with a very tacky and rude demeanor..

Alan Golds is THE best club in the city and has won awards for it which is voted by patrons and citizens of Chattanooga...

my advice is come to the club during the week as well as the weekend and judge for yourself... don't let a few bitter people cloud your judgement of wonderful place to party 7 nights a week...

Club is old, fire hazard only 1 exit and hundreds of people crammed in a 2 story place, fighting, drug use and cars broken into

good place to meet friends hear music and see drag shows
