HORRIBLE! Unfortunately, the problem with this establishment is the owner..

After an hour and 1/2 wait, the food had not yet been served. The wait staff was mortified and offered compensation. The owner on the other hand, overrode the compensation and had the most awful and hateful attitude towards me and fellow patrons. She basically blamed the long wait on one of us, for ordering a dish that took the longest to cook...apparently beef and mushrooms take over and hour to cook! Mind you that we also ordered cold finger sandwiches that also didn't appear in that time span.

This is my first review, and I consider myself to be a fairly easy going customer, who never lets incidents like bad customer service bother me too much, but this situation was simply unacceptable! The waiting staff was polite and apologetic..I suggest the owner should take customer service etiquette lessons from them..

Atrocious experience! Never Again!

Very very pleasant. Good food, great tea, nice gift shop. A must see.

If you ever want to visit England without crossing the pond, then Angela's English Rose tea room is the place you want to visit. Angela and her staff make you feel like ROYALTY!!!! The food and tea gives you a real flavor of England and when you leave, you can take something home from the wonderfully appointed shop with bunches of items from the experience you've just completed. The English Rose is a MUST VISIT to visitors and native Chattanoogans alike
