My son-in-law and daughter went to Hometown Lenders the first week of January and were approved to buy the house they wanted before the end of January 2014. Hometown Lenders had them jumping through hoops every week with something else that they needed to do. After signing 2 extensions with the buyer then they told them they would need a co signer. My credit score is above 800...... We signed and again they were told it was approved.... signed another extension with the owner... for 1 week .... didn't happen again.... signed another extension for 3 days..... at 3:00 on the last day I called them and was told the day isn't over yet and everything looked good. At 5:00 pm we were told they needed more time. Homeowner is MAD....... they have lost this house after trying for 3 MONTHS and after MANY, MANY PROMISES BY Hometown Lenders. They are incompetent at the best and don't care at all about their clients.

From the first phone call I was pleasantly surprised by the level of customer service that Hometown Lenders provided. I dealt with Brian Courier and we was consistent in service, immediately responsive in communication, and conducted himself with great integrity. I honestly feel that he worked as hard as he could for me and my family. Much thanks to Brian and the whole Hometown Lender team.

I got a VA loan. Very fast and I am very happy with the experiance.
