First off, I have been a loyal and satisfied client of Thrive - partly because of their "beauty bank," a way to add money to an account for future visits. I've had two vampire facials (my pictures are on the site), several botox injections, injections - all amounting to a couple thousand dollars. I am no longer satisfied. I had eyelash extensions a few weeks ago. I asked the consultant to be "subtle" with the extensions but about threw up when she handed me a mirror. I looked like a clown. I asked the woman to trim them and take some off so that wasn't such a freak. When I left the spa, I had adhesive and wayward lashes in my eyes. I had the lashes done on Wednesday and by Friday, I had lashes only on one eye. As I left the shop, I asked that Jodi call me. She didn't call until I texted her on Friday morning and repeated my request that she call. When I talked to her, she did not respond to my complaint that after paying for the lashes on Tuesday, I was lashless on one eye by Friday (I lost all lashes on both eyes by Saturday). In our conversation, she didn't address my complaints with the lashes, but only defended the spa, making certain that I take responsibility for losing the lashes since I asked the eyelash woman to tone them down. This place and the people working in it have zero concept of customer service or how to handle complaints.

Horrible experience - I am out the cost of the lashes and Jodi would not even honor the refill for $45 since I had no lashes left. I asked that she refund the $300 in my beauty bank, and she refused to do that. They still have my $300, and I still have no lashes. Plus, Jodi made me feel like I was at fault for not understanding what eyelash extensions were (I have had them before and they were fine then). The biggest problem with this experience is that I realize that these people do not care about their clients. They just want the money. DO NOT TRUST THIS SPA. I wish I had never visited the place. As I said, I am out the cost of the lashes and they still have $300 of my money that they will not refund. Visit at your own risk, but know that these folks do not care if your are satisfied or not.
