After being a part of the organization, I realized that I was surrounded by a bunch of idiots! I would not recommend joining or using any of the facilities. Go elsewhere.

We booked the Chelmsford Elks Club 10 months in advance for our wedding reception. About 70 days from the wedding, we were called and told that they had double booked and we lost our reservation for our wedding day. It was very difficult to find a new place on short notice, but we did find it. Unfortunately our new place was not able to let us use the caterer that we had lined up to use at the Elks club. We notified the Elks club that we had lost our $500 deposit to our caterer due to not being able to use him, and cancelling on short notice. Also, we had to reprint our invite cards to reflect the new venue. We asked the Elks for reimbursement for these expenses that were obviously caused by their mistake. Two months later, we have gotten nothing but excuses and beating around the bush. We were even told that there was no proof that the caterer lost any money, therefore no way to give us our deposit back. Very little help or desire from this place to fix their mistake or give any compensation to reconcile a stressful ordeal. I would recommend avoiding.
