My floating floors were crowning and buckling 3" high. The builder was asked repeatedly to repair the flooring but only came back to try to fix it once which caused even more damage to the floors and leaving saw marks on several baseboards. After asking the builder to repair or replace for 4 months he suddenly presents me with 20,000.00 in charges for what he claimed were upgrades, even though I have a signed document that I have paid for ALL upgrades in full typed on the builders letter head and signed by him. He insisted I pay him before he did anything to my floor. Since he wouldn't fix the floor or the baseboards I had to have it done myself costing an additional $16,000.00 and I want my money back.

Builds a nice house but get everything in writing!
