Founded in 1962, Harmony Hill School is a nonprofit organization that provides treatment and education for behaviorally and emotionally disabled children, youth and their families. It offers various programs and services to serve the students, including residential program, Harmony House, extended day program, summer program, school program, clinical program, firesetters program and behavioral program. The school s Challenge Course is part of its adventure-based therapy program, and is designed to help in building self-esteem and increase and improve communication, teamwork and creative problem solving. Located in Chepachet, R.I., Harmony Hill School is approved by the Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services and the National Commission for the Accreditation of Special Education Services.
