Provided by YP.comDr Meade is a wonderful vet and a wonderful person. She is very smart and explains everything about your pet’s issue and when she decides what she thinks should be done for your pet she truly has his best interest at heart. I have brought several of my babies there and one of my guinea pigs was a rescue and had a lot of eye problems and she did so much for him to make him comfortable and happy and she even cried with me. She is a great vet and a great person. Ask for her if you need to bring your babies to the vet because it’s not easy to find a great exotics vet.

Provided by YP.comAfter visiting the Animal and Bird Health Care Center for over a year, I am happy to say that my ferret will no longer be under the care of Dr. David Kupersmith. My 8 year old ferret has been recieving Lupron injections for the past year to treat her Adrenal disease. This morning Dr. Kupersmith presented me with a choice. Today the doctor said that if I didn't agree to pay for a physical and possibly blood work then he would no longer treat my pet. While I understand the importance of a physical, my finacial situation doesn't allow for me to provide those services, on top of the costly monthly injections. Dizelle, my loving ferret, is happy and full of life, even now that she is into her elderly years, due to her recieving the Lupron injections . Dr. Kupersmith told me that if I didn't get the tests it was like not getting blood work for an elderly grandmother. He tried to make me feel guilty so that I would agree to pay more money. He proceded to tell me that he was doing me a favor by not charging me for a visit each month and by just charging me for the injection and cost of administering the shot. When I told the dr to just administer the injection and that I would be looking for a new vet, he replied "you won't find one, everyone is referred to me". I am happy to report that I have found a new vet who is willing to treat my ferret at a lower cost. Good bye Animal and Bird Health Care Center and good riddens Dr. Kupersmith!
