Business owner is either extremely rude or extremely unorganized. I brought bags in to consign with her and she never called me to tell me one sold and she had a check for me. She claims she did but I checked my phone records and she lied to me. I also tried for over 6 months to get my bag back that didn't sell and the owner was never there and I was told that she was the only one who could return the bag by the same male associate each time I went in. After 9 months, I finally caught the owner in the store. She had a check for me from 6 months ago and had donated my other bag. She asked me what took so long to come in and get it and I couldn't believe she was asking me that when I had tried AND called several times to attempt to retrieve my belongings. After months of trying to resolve this issue, I filed a BBB complaint requesting to have the donation receipt sent to me so I could at least get the credit for my NEW leather Michael Kors bag that she donated without contacting me. Again, my phone records do not lie. After asking for the donation receipt, I get a phone call from her that she magically found my bag in a box in her house. What was it even doing there? At this point, I'm thinking she's either a liar or just a really unorganized business owner. I asked her to mail it to me and she refused to do so after all of this. Poor customer service. THEN I went in to pick up the bags and there was a red and faint purple stain on the bag that were not there when I dropped it off. I had sold with her before and she never accepted bags with stains so why would this time be any dfifferent. She told me I should he happy she found it and put me down personally telling me I was an "ugly person," which was completely unprofessional and uncalled for. Anyone in my situation would have been upset. So now I am stuck with a brand new white leather bag on it with stains and she refuses to do anything to help me. She acts as though her customers should be lucky to sell with her, when in this ecomony, any business owner should be happy to have and keep loyal customers. As a business owner myself, I do not see how that attitude keeps her in business. Warning: Do not consign with this woman. You never can be sure what will happen with your items and what lies she will tell to cover up her mistakes after the fact. And she will not do anything to rectify the situation. It's amazing how some business owners treat their customers and don't expect word to get around, especially with all the blogging and social networking out there these days. I tried to understand her logic, but her story doesn't add up at all.
