Charles Brooks is a Certified Arborist and is skilled and thorough when telling you what all your trees and shrubs require in order to remain healthy. I have known Mr. Brooks for many years first meeting him in my professional life and now use him exclusively for our residential needs. He has removed trees from our property and trimmed others to promote strength and vigor after being damaged in a storm. His team of professionals are skilled and courteous plus leave your property in pristine condition when finished. Many companies will take down a tree as will this one but unlike other companies, this one has the skill and knowledge to tackle the most challenging situations as they try to save your damage tree. I highly recommend Charles Brooks and Brooks Tree Service.

Brooks tree service was fantastic. They were on time and very professtional. They trimmed and shaped and thinned out a very large oak tree in my moms back yard. They cleaned up the yard afterwards. I was amazed at how fast they worked. I will be calling them again.Great job!!

Mr. Brooks has provided tree service for us for over 20 years and we have been very happy with all work performed. He is professional, honest , and his crew does a great job, leaving the area much cleaner than when they arrived. Highly recommend and we wouldn't use any other company.

If you want to turn to an arborist Mr Brooks is the person to call. He is reliable, so helpful, and skilled. He and his crew work extremely well together.They are are fastidious and will leave your place cleaner than it was before they started. They always go "the extra mile" for me.

Mr Brooks told me that after the work was done I would not even known they were there. With the exception of the wood we kept for our fire places he was 100% correct, The care they took to clean was amazing, there was not one leaf left on the ground and because they blew off all the patios and sidewalks it was cleaner than when they got there. I was impressed with their speed and attention to detail. With one of the trimming of the trees when I thought more was going to be removed they set their ladder back up and took care of it with out a moments hesitation. Thank you Mr Brooks for doing such a great job, and as far as I am concerned there is only one tree service for me .

I called Brooks Tree Service to look at a situation of a River Birch that was flowing on to my roof and on to my neighbor's property. When Mr. Brooks came out he took the time to carefully listen to my concerns. I expressed to him what I was envisioning the tree to look like after it was trimmed. He walked me around the tree and explained to me how he would approach it to resolve the issue. He pretty much nailed what I was envisioning. I could tell from talking with him that he was very knowledgeable in this space. Not only was he knowledgeable, he was also courteous and professional as well as his team. The cleaned up the job site after the work was done. You would have never known that they had been there.



I wish I had taken a before and after picture of the River Birch to post so one could get a great appreciation for the work that was done. Brooks Tree Service did an excellent job! So I would say if you have money to spend and not to waste call Brooks Tree Service!

Mr Brooks and his team went beyond my expectations. This is the third occasion I have hired Brooks Tree Service. Charles gave me multiple options and explained in detail the process that would take place. He scheduled arrival times and was never late. The attention to detail of the tree trimming as well as the surrounding landscape made the task at hand worry free. I have hired many sub contractors over the years and this group is the first I did not have to watch over, instead I spent my time enjoying the art form that was happening in my front yard!

The service was superb! We had a very large pine tree that needed to be removed. Brooks Tree Service provided us a reasonable quote to remove the tree. They came with a very motivated crew that quickly and efficiently took down the tree including the stump and cleaned up the yard. After they were all finished the yard looked like the tree had never been there to begin with. We highly recommend this company for any type of tree service that you may need.

Mr Brooks and his crew do exceptional work! He took the time to explain what they would do to improve our tree canopys. They were timely, professional, and left our yard cleaner than when they arrived. Highly recommended!

Mr. Brooks and his crew did some canopy reduction of some trees in our yard. They did an excellent job on the trees. In addition, they didn't harm my lawn at all. The clean-up they did was outstanding; the side yard actually looked better after they left than it did before they started. Mr. Brooks really goes through the time and trouble it takes to do the job and do it right. He tells you exactly what he will do before he does it, and he encourages feedback. Brooks Tree Service is not happy until you are happy, which is why they are the best in the business.

I've been relying on Brooks for over 16 years. He has the same crew - reliable, courteous, neat and safe. We have many very tall trees (over 120 feet) which need trimming or eliminating do to varying weather conditions. Mr. Brooks checks the area for under ground water lines and drain pipes so as not to cause any damage. His crew use cables and pulleys to lower tree tops and large branches so as not cause any damage on near by objects or landscape lighting. Between our many trees, scrub bushes pop up and his crew do an excellent job on clearing them. When Mr. Brooks and crew leave, our area is neat and clean. We love trees. If a tree can be saved without causing a hazard to buildings, Mr. Brooks offers suggestions on topping or trimming the tree. If the work was not as time consuming or difficult as quoted, Mr. Brooks lowers his fee. We can always count on a safe and reliable job.

We recently used Brooks to remove two trees, and trim 2 others. This is the only tree service we have used in the many years we have lived in Chesapeake. As before, the job was completed as planned, and the yards were left clear of all debris. We highly recommend his expertise, for advice, planning, and execution.

This is the second time that I have called Brooks Tree Service to trim my large river birch. I wanted to get it trimmed up for the hurricane season.Thin it out but keeping with the shade factor we need for the front of the house. They are so professional. It's beautiful, they pick up all the debris and they even trimmed my myrtles while they were here. Now I can sit on my front porch in shade and with the knowledge that my tree is more likely to remain healthy for many years to come.

Awesome job! The owner, Mr. Charles Brooks, a Vietnam Veteran, has an experienced crew who work well together. His estimate was reasonable; he completed the job as specified in the contract in a professional manner. He left my yard and driveway cleaner than it was when he got here! I have used Brooks Tree Service several times. They are dependable, professional, careful and very thorough in their clean-up. Charles Brooks is also a trained and knowledgeable source of information and advice on tree management.

It was a very pleasant experience having Brooks Tree Service remove one of my tall pine trees. The tree was close to the front of our home and near our yard light pole. Mr. Brooks and his employees arrived on time and quickly started what I thought was going to be a very complicated take down. Four hours later the tree was gone, the stump had been removed and my yard was spotless. I could not ask for a better tree removal service and Mr. Brooks can be assured that if and when I need my remaining trees trimmed or another tree removed HE GETS THE JOB!!!!!!
