All good things must come to an end, today I was horribly embarrassed at the way I was approached about a bill that the insurance for some reason did not cover. I was first approached and ask why it did not cover, I said I did not know, I haven't been told that it wasn't and that I cannot pay until the end of the month, stating I was an unemployable disabled Veteran who gets paid once a month, thought that was the end of it. I was then signaled to come down and speak to the Pharmacist who was loud saying you have a bill to pay, I explained once again, they said OK but you need to come in and speak with the head pharmacist about this Monday, I was mortified, extremely embarrassed at the way I was approached and spoken too, I used to enjoy coming into this Pharmacy but no more, after I take care of this, I will never ever set foot in there again.

by far the best there is!! nowhere else in the hampton roads area can you go into a pharmacy and see 5 pharmacists on duty at all times!! you walk in they greet you and ask how you are doing (by name) they deliver, they have a place to eat (creek grill), a photo shop. i remember one time i had run out of my blood pressure medication and this one i get all the time. they had faxed the dr on friday but hadnt gotten a response yet. so they loaned me three pills just so i wouldnt be suffering over the weekend! monday came my medication came threw the three were deducted from my prescription and i was fine. i only recomend them! oh also, my doctor can just electronically send my prescription over there and by the time i get there it is filled. i can even pick it up at the drive thru. the pharmacists are always willing to help there and over the phone if i have any questions about med interactions some over the counter meds can affect the prescriptions i take i can always count on them!!!

A local favorite of mine

Lawrence Pharmacy has a hometown feel. They genuinely care about their customers. You are not nameless. The pharmacy counter is fully staffed so your wait time is very short and reasonable. The pharmacists are always available to answer questions. Many locals frequent the soda fountain (which has great food - and awesome banana pudding) and they also carry classic candy from your childhood. Most anything you would need from a pharmacy/drug store is available. This business has heart!

the local neighbor hood pharmacy. Owned and operated by long time community activist.

Lawrence Pharmacy has been serving the Deep Creek area of Chesapeake for over 40 years. The owner operated has always taken a personal interest in his customers. Not the typical chain store pharmacy where the customers are just namless faces. Mr Lawrence has deep roots in the community and shows it every day. His business is a gathering place for seniors as well as the young people of the community. The soda fountain is a reminder of the way a drug store use to be. A place where you get an ice cream soda, hot dog and french fries and meet with your friends while you waited for your prescription needs. Lawrence pharmacy goes the extra mile. A place to go out of your way to do business. Because it goes out of its way for you the customer.
