I called Minuteman Plumbing and I guess they changed their name to The plumbing and Drain Co, They came in a little over an hour which I thought was very prompt. They diagnosed the problem as a pressure switch and fixed it fast. Then the bill came. 325.00 for a 25.00 pressure switch. Which included a 20.00 fuel charge for an 11 mile trip. Extremely pricey. i will not be calling them again.
I would have preferred they give you their fees after they diagnose the problem than at the end when you have no choice but to pay it.

Told us $1200 to replace two shower knobs. They asked us if we were in the Navy and we said yes. They got the work done. Gave us our bill. $1600?!? Never again.

Told us $2,500! Husband did the research, pump cost $300. Tech that came out cut our tank alarm cord, it was not! We wanted the pump replaced. Alarm is whole other entity. Left us with our pump sitting in the yard, smelling and us driving to my mom's to shower and our neighbors letting us use their bathroom. My husband went on YOUTUBE and figured out how to replace the pump. Called the company to ask them to reimburse us for the alarm tank cord. Big argument...still trying to convince us it was needed. Finally told my husband to buy it and they would reimburse. No calls since and still no reimbursement. Worst service ever! Worst customer service! My husband is a VERY calm man and I watched him on the phone with this guy and I could hear the guy trying so hard to convince my husband it was necessary to cut that alarm cord and the service would be $2,500. Said the work would take a long time AND it was 3 techs that came out to our house initially. My husband did it ALONE.

This is the most dishonest company that I have had work on my home! Stay far away! They are also known as minute man plumbing. I had a pipe bust under my concrete. They charged me 1000's of dollars to have it repaired. They left their equipment in my house for day. Big machinery. When I told them I was sick of them storing it in my house and they needed to come compleye the job, the owner told me he would rip the pipe out of the ground if I did so. The workers stole my shovel, left grease marks all over my carpet, and filledy driveway with uneven pavement. I asked them to redo the driveway and threatened to take him to court and he refused. I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE BEEN SO TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. The owner has a special place in hell for all of the people he has screwed over, threatened, and taken advantage of. STAY FAR AWAY!

I wish I would have read this review before calling this company. The parts cost about $25 but was charged $400. The job was not complex and took less than 20 minutes to complete. And like the previous review I was told the cost after the job. I would not recommend this company. Very pricey.
