Camp Hazen YMCA is licensed by the State of Connecticut annually and is accredited by the American Camping Association. The camp meets nearly 300 standards of safety, health, quality control and management, which meet government-recognized and industry standards. Programs offered by the camp include resident camp, the main traditional summer camp for boys and girls entering third through 10th grade; the Hazen Howdy Club for first-time campers; a day camp for campers entering the first through the 10th grades; specialty camps that are held at the end of the traditional camping program in August; and teen leadership programs for campers entering ninth through the 12th grades. Camp Hazen YMCA is located in Chester, Conn.
