So happy to see another Don Jose!!!!



The original location in Colonial Heights is the location that hooked us, but since we moved deeper into Chesterfield - we hardly ever get there anymore. So, when I noticed the Chester Don Jose one day while running errands, I was thrilled.



I realize that this location is run under different management than the one in Col. Hghts, but their level of customer care and delicious food are incredible. I would highly recommend this place for a memorable night out with anyone.



The service is prompt and friendly and the food is perfectly prepared every time.



The only downside to dining there is the wait. If you hit them during the lunch or dinner rush, you will most likely have to wait 10-15 minutes. It is absolutely worth the wait, so tough it out! I assure you - You won't be disappointed! However, I sometimes feel like a poor, hungry beggar as I wait for a table - since the waiting area is walkway for the wait staff which is in the eyeline of all the patrons. That's alright, I try and imagine how good it will be when I am the one seated while the next batch of hungry patrons wait their turn.
