Front office staff very snotty and rude, back office girls are overworked and stressed.... always a very long wait

I tried making an appointment to see Dr. Ramus, my regular doctor and was told he couldn't get me in until December. I needed to be seen soon, so they gave me an appointment with Dr. Hopman. What a joke!! After waiting to see her for an hour and a half and 15 mins. Into my office visit she looks at her watch, and tells me she doesn't have time for this and that I'm not her regular patient. She could have cared less what I was there for. She was very rude, arrogant and unprofessional. I have been an established patient for years and I would NEVER recommend Dr. Hopman.

I have had nothing shy of a wonderful experience here! The doctors are absolutely wonderful. The wait time can be long but I would not want them rushing my care! I will not go to any other office! Keep up the great work!

Terrible, untrustworthy staff! Malpractice is the pracrice of office staff at Bay Area Family Physicians. Low functioning clerical staff that has no problem lying to get you off the phone. I can't say enough negative comments about the engagements with staff. Consistently rude, inaccurate, & frankly bothered to work. I love my doctor... I wonder why he left, hmmmmmmm.

Absolutely horrible experience here. This office definitely lacks interpersonal skills. The receptionist that scheduled my appointment was completely rude. Honestly, I thought I had dialed the wrong number. Then, I wait an hour over my scheduled appointment time to see a doctor who acts as if my concerns are of no interest to her and does everything possible to rush out of my visit. She actually left indicating that she would return and sent a nurse to follow up with my questions. Did I really wait an hour for you to spend 10 minutes acting as though you have better things to do than do your job and address my concerns? I pride myself in being very polite and respectful in every setting and I most definitely expect the same from those who are being paid to do their job. I almost never leave reviews, but I couldn't believe how unprofessional this office is!

I have been going here for many years. Originally pleased, but always unhappy with the long wait time. However, I have been waiting for Dr. Hopman and her staff since OCTOBER to take the proper steps to get the necessary approval from my insurance company to get an MRI. I have called several times, my insurance company has called them and still nothing. I have requested a phone call from Dr. Hopman several times...nothing. Not even the courtesy of someone from the office following up. Called again today, got transferred to the office manager...surprise...voice mail. 2 hours later still no return call. I am now looking for a new doctor but am concerned about how long it will take for my records to get transferred. Horrible patient relations.

I have been seeing Dr Ramus for at least 10 years and ABSOLUTLY LOVE him!!!!! He is very supportive and always explains my 'issues' so that I can understand completly. I do agree that the wait time is far too long, I too wait 15-20 minutes in the lobby than 30-45 in the room. But sometimes you have to wait for quality. Thank you Dr. Ramus for your continued QUALITY CARE and COMPASSION!!!!

I've been seeing Dr. Defever here for years and I typically wait just 15 minutes in the waiting room and the same in the examination room.

Its a good doctors office I have been going there for years. All the doctors are good. But they are slow. You will wait in the waiting room one hour on average and in the exam room half hour to 45min. before seeing the doctor. EVERY TIME!!!
