Horrible experience. Never again!

My wife made an appointment to have our dog bathed and nails clipped. When I dropped our dog off for the appointment, they kept trying to up sell me on useless add-ons (oatmeal shampoo, she'd-x, etc). I told them that we only wanted the basic bath and nail clipping over and over. "just give me what my wife ordered, what we got last time." Four hours later when I went back, they tried to make me pay a $50 bill. I told them that this is not we ordered and the bill should only be $27. After debating with whom I can only assume was some sort of a manager, and being called a liar by the original heffer that checked me in, I had to become pretty blunt. "Give me my dog, I'm paying a $27 bill and I'm leaving. Anything other than that will make a bigger problem than you're prepared to deal with right now." By this time, at least 8 employees are crammed into the dirty and smelly grooming room, watching this play out. Apparently, this happens to this lady a lot because no one seemed to be surprised when I had my finger 6 inches from her face saying "THIS ONE HERE IS THE ONE THAT LIED! SHE'S THE ONE WHO FOULED UP!"

When it's all said and done, I paid $26.99 for them to give my dog a bath and trim a few of his nails (they said he "squirmed around to much to finish"). He's 150 lbs and 13 yrs old

Not for my dog

Petsmart is ok for getting supplies for your animals. However, I would never keep my animal there for daycare or overnight boarding. The entire facility is under roof, no fresh air, no sunshine. The atmosphere is very corporate, the staff is nice enough but didn't seem very professional or experienced on my tour. The facility was also loud and did not smell very good. I guess thats what you get in a national chain.
