Founded in 1999, St.Louis County Library is a nonprofit organization that supports the Library District by providing resources for promoting reading and literacy. It offers programs and services for developing reading, writing and learning of children of all age groups to ensure school readiness. The communities can access library's resources through technology. St.Louis County Library has a host of eco resources, such as energy conservation, global warming, green marketing, green products, human ecology and organic gardening, among others. It also offers electronic resources, such as databases, e-media, meta find and online periodicals.
