This horse farm has a great feel to it. The horses are clearly happy and brim with good health. The facility is very clean and accessible. Both the children and adult riders seem very engaged, relaxed but well-focused. It is clear that the owners know what they're doing and are highly invested in the total operation. Chesterfield Farm, while professionally run, embraces the feel of a family-run business. The instructor, Elizabeth, is experienced and is willing to make time for each student and their mount. She is happy to take her students to competitions so that they get the best possible experience. Elizabeth herself also regularly competes at a high level; therefore, she understands what it takes and can pass this experience onto her students. This is the best horse stable in the area!

I have boarded my horse and taken lessons at many farms in New Jersey and this is undoubtedly the best one. Chesterfield Farm is a gorgeous facility with the highest quality care available for your horse. The owner, Elizabeth, is an exceptional horsewoman who is on-site 7 days a week. She is very experienced and knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about every horse’s wellbeing. There is a very large lesson program ranging from beginner to advanced, across a variety of English riding-based disciplines. Liz is very talented and knows how to get the best out of both rider and horse. The staff are all kind and knowledgeable, and there is a great group of boarders. Chesterfield Farm is where my horse was happiest, and I never had to worry if she was being properly taken care of. Whether you just want to come learn how to ride or you are looking for the perfect place to board your horse, Chesterfield Farm is the ideal location!

I board and take lessons at chesterfield farm and it is by far the best boarding facility I have been to, the barn is always clean, horses all have green hay and any diet your horse requires the owner Elizabeth will gladly accommodate! My horse is in great hands I don't worry if I go away and can't come by for a week or two, I will get at least a text telling me she is doing great. I also have been taking lessons for 7 months there and have already started my dream of showing and getting into eventing, I've come further in 7 months at chesterfield then I have in the 9 years I've been riding. This really isn't a joke I'm so happy all the people are great, you have the option to be as competitive as you want or just take lessons for fun and learning. Highly recommend chesterfield farm to anyone looking to board their horse or take lessons!

If I'm being one hundred percent honest, this is my favorite place to be all of the time... I adore all of the people, the atmosphere, and the quality of service.. The best thing about chesterfield farm is its consistency.. . There is no drama, all borders and lesson kids are fantastic, and above all else, is an amazing barn.... I just fel compelled to say this... I hate seeing untrue and negative things--especially about a place as stellar as this.

Enrolled my daughter in lessons there in September 2012. The owner Elizabeth, is one of the nicest and most compassionate people in the horse business! She is extremely easy to deal with, and is always accomodating ! A NO DRAMA PLACE! from children to adults, everyone is friendly and not the usual "snobby" horse farm. My family and I adore Liz and her staff as well as all of her boarders! She is doing it right and I highly recommend Chesterfield Farm!

I don't know what "horseowner" is talking about in her review. This is by far the best boarding/lesson/training facility I have had the pleasure of keeping my horses at. The barn is always clean, the horses are always fed on schedule, the owner is an accomplished equestrienne and just an all-around good person, the staff genuinely care about the horses, and the comraderie in the barn is just a great bonus. I would highly recommend Chesterfield Farm to anyone who desires quality, compassionate care for their horse(s).
