Provided by YP.comMy husband and I first went to East Wind Acupuncture in February of 2008 after struggling with fertility for the last year. I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) and had been to numerous doctors in our struggle to have a baby. I had done 3 rounds of the fertility drug, Clomid with an OBGYN, and after none of them had been successful I was referred to a fertility clinic. We found information about East Wind at our fertility doctor and decided to try it out. My husband and I were both being treated and after the first month of acupuncture, herbs, and dietary recommendations we found out we were pregnant! Our daughter is now just over 3 years old and we have been trying for our second child since she was 3 months old. In that time, we have been to two fertility doctors and found that the same problems are still present for us, but we have not chosen to start Clomid yet. Due to the distance of East Wind from our home, we decided to try another local acupuncturist that a friend of ours told us about to seek herbal treatment. After a few months of herbal treatment at the other acupuncturist, I just didn’t feel that in my heart that was the right place for us. Our treatment plan there was much different than when we were at East Wind. There seemed to be more structure at East Wind. We missed having the dietary recommendations that East Wind had given us when trying for our 1st child. Not that we enjoy having dietary restrictions but I feel that, in conjunction with their herbal plan and a few acupuncture sessions, we will be successful in conceiving our 2nd child.
