I took an engagement/wedding ring set to Boyers to get a quote to resize and change a setting. A month and a half later I received a call that my engagement ring had been resized and that I could come pick it up. I explained that I had not approved a resize and that it was a 2 ring set and was told that Mr. Boyer did not think the cost of the resize to be too high and approved it without my okay. Further no one knew anything about my other ring. Three weeks later I called back and again explained that I only wanted the ring resized if I got the setting changed and was told that they had both rings, one had been resized, one had not, and that they felt the cost of the setting change was excessive and did not have it done. While I was not charged for the resize, I did not want it done either. I now have a ring set that does not match in size and cannot be worn by the original owner, or the future daughter-in-law it was going to be given to, if the setting was changed.



The reason I am most upset however, is that rather than apologize I was made to feel as if I were the one in the wrong and both people that I spoke to acted as though they did nothing wrong in making a decision to get work done when I only wanted an estimate. I would highly recommend going anywhere else for jewelry repair!
