Established in 1996, Shared Opportunity Service is a nonprofit organization that provides a range of family support services that focus on self-sufficiency, parent education, children s programming, in-home visiting, peer support and wellness education. The organization operates the Kent Family Center, which features a child development room that provides parents with opportunities to interact with their children and practice parenting techniques.
