Niessing Jewelry The Niessing company was founded in Pforzheim, Germany in 1873 by Hermann Niessing, a classically trained jeweler. Still family owned and managed, the company has a staff of 200, including 85 goldsmiths and 65 technicians specializing in computerized and high-tech equipment in order to fabricate the company's innovative and finely calibrated designs. Niessing understands design as the process by which industrially manufactured products are adapted to meet customers' physical and psychological needs: a combination of functionality, perfect fit, highest quality materials and exceptional craftsmanship.
