Hmm...not sure.

My daughter and I went to visit my husband and stayed with him for about two weeks here. We checked in on a Tuesday into a kitchenette. The rooms were not great but worked. Fairly clean, unless you look under the beds and at the dust on the tv. Bathrooms were nice and newly tiled and updated, except for the plumbing. The water temperature was not constant at all! Cigarette burns in the bedspreads and blankets. But the staff was very friendly. I couldn't figure out when our cleaning day was, so asked after we moved to a non kitchette room. We moved thinking it would have been cheaper, but he gave us the same rate as the kitchette. We should have stayed in the kitchenette. Wednesday we still hadn't had our room cleaned, but I did bug the maid for new towels, etc. She said they only do cleanings once a week. But you can always ask for anything anytime. Well, on Sunday my family left the room for 4 hours and came back and room still hadn't been cleaned. The maid that day said she doesn't usually do full cleanings and weekends so people can sleep in. Then by Tuesday my husband said they still hadn't come in to clean. So we stayed for two weeks and didn't get the roomed cleaned at all. Had to ask for towels three times. That was kind of iritating. As far as condition goes they are trying to update and doing well with a poor foundation, but still have a long way to go. Decent location. Good for long term workers who need a place to stay.

Just keep driving

This place was horrible. We checked in and noticed the whole area smelled of Natural gas. The woman at the desk was unfriendly. When we opened our door our room was a whopping 10' x 14' i had to crawl over my wife in bed to get to the bathroom. broken down cars in the lot, and last but not least it smells like sweat in the room. In this case spend the 100 bucks and stay at the holiday inn.

Lies!!!

I booked this room becase I was going to a concert and was informed by the the owner that its was close to the concert and there was a shuttle in front of the motel.I got there and there was no shuttle and would have to walk a 1/4 of a mile the the shuttle and they come all the time.Well the shuttle was over a mile walk and it only comes once a hour.I waited for the shuttle for 45minute and was a hour and ahalf late to concert! i took a shower before the concert and the water had a brown color to it and rooms smell like mildew. I tried to talk to the owner the next day and he was gone, he knew I was coming in to talk to him and he had left.So I called him when I got home,to give him a chance to make thing better. He hung up on me.So i called him back,he told me that it was my problem and it was Cheyenne Day's so he would do any kind on refund and if I wrote a review he would take me to court for writing a review. This place doesn't even deserve a 1 star ratig,I t should be a zero star!!

If you like that kind of place

We planned on staying awhile here but at the first glance of the condition of the room totally changed our minds. It's good to here the new owners are making changes but no fast enough. We called weeks in advance for a room with a kitchen. She explained the room was getting redone but it would be done by the time we got there. WRONG!! It was awful. Look before you pay.

Stay Away and Sleep in Your Car!!!!

As soon as we pulled in we watched a dog poop in front of our SUV. The kitchenette had this really cool thing, and I do mean thing, has anyone out there ever seen a duel burner, sink, and fridge all in one. I am sure that is worth money. Our door has several fist holes. The bathroom water ran from the same pipe, so don’t flush and run the sink at the same time. Don’t shower and have someone flush, we are talking third degree burns. The one inch gap under the door let the cold in. The AC unit is falling out of the wall. No heat unless you ask for it. The hotel has to turn it on. This is Cheyenne in December. You should always have the heat on. We got a great laugh from the Marriott phone in the Cheyenne Hotel room. There was a hole in the bathroom floor, only one light works in the bathroom. It smelled like a hospital but only a 100times worse. But I don’t want to sound like a complainer it is a piece of history. The staff was nice. I think they needed our business.

Friendly Hosts

The motel has some challenges; but the new managers are working to correct a lot of the things that have been allowed to go unmaintained. I give great credit to the young couple who is now managing this unit; they will work with you to make things right. A great couple.
