We attended this bar on Cheyenne Day, one of the most popular days for Cheyenne as far as bars go. The waitress insisted upon arrival that we would be able to drink until 1:00am - possibly 2:00am. Bartender had other ideas. He kicked us out at 12:00am and the bartender advised us that Wyoming did NOT have an open container laws and that we should drink outside. We knew these were lies. He proceeded to tell us that we were not from the area and did not know what we were talking about. The bartender was aggressive, almost asking for a fight. The entire staff was wasted at this point. We asked if we could finish our 1/4 beer and were told to take it outside through the fire exit as the main doors had already been locked. We will never return to this establishment and will advise others to stay away. We are very disappointed in the treatment and will not return to this bar again after many years of patronage. It is unfortunate that The Albany has decided to go down this path.

I love this place. I go there often for lunch. Their prime rib sandwich is my favorite. Great service too!
