5125 W Chicago Ave, Chicago, IL 60651
Austin Peoples Action Center (APAC) is a social service agency serving the Austin community and several suburban communities. When the agency began in 1980, there were concerns that the racially changing community of Austin was not adequately serving its most needy residents. APAC'S Board of Directors and staff believe that people deserve the right to have adequate nutrition, medical care, job opportunities, affordable housing and access to education opportunities. We believe that if people get help and support through the crisis periods in their lives
