Dr. Bobby Tajudeen currently serves as the Director of the Section of Rhinology, Sinus Surgery and Skull Base Surgery and Director of Otorhinolaryngology research at Rush. He completed medical school at the NYU School of Medicine, graduating with highest honors, and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society. He completed residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at UCLA Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Rhinology, Sinus Surgery and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, where he trained with leaders in the field of Rhinology. Dr. Tajudeen has given numerous presentations nationally and has authored over 120 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. He is a reviewer of multiple scientific journals including the International Forum of Allergy and Rhinology, Laryngoscope and Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and belongs to several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American Rhinologic Society, the Triological Society and North American Skull Base Society. Dr. Tajudeen believes in the importance of personalized decision making and the need for a strong doctor/patient relationship to attain the best possible outcome. His special clinical interests include management of refractory sinusitis and nasal polyposis, revision sinus surgery, management of CSF rhinorrhea, endoscopic orbital surgery, and minimally invasive skull base surgery for benign and malignant tumors.
