Top Notch! I was referred to Cambridge Nanny by a colleague I respect. This is the first service I have encountered where children are the prime focus. Exceptionally knowledgeable and caring staff. Outstanding selection of qualified caregivers and the video introductions are fantastic.. Very pleased with the nanny I selected and service I received.

My experience with Cambridge was really good.



The positives: Opportunity to view nanny video’s in advance to whittle down candidates. All candidates presented were solid contenders that met the job requirements. Knowledgeable staff. My sense is was they genuinely care about their work. Appreciated their “Try before Buying” approach. They do not charge a placement fee until the nanny successfully completed a 45-day probationary period. Selected an awesome nanny that my kids like. Scratch that. Selected a nanny my kids love.



Negatives: A few of the nannies did not have videos. They presented two candidates who were seeking an hourly rate above our $1-$2 above our targeted hourly rate.



Overall very good experience. Pleased with service.

Definitely a fan of Cambridge. I met them through their nanny networking group at Whole Foods in Lincoln Park. Unlike so many agencies in the city, it's free to register and if you pass their screening process free to find a job. The most thorough interview I have ever had with an agency. Although I was nervous to film my nanny video it turned out to be a lot of fun and the producer made me feel so comfortable. My only complaint is that I didn't know the interview would take so long I didn't bring enough change to feed the meter so I had to go and get change to feed the meter. This agency is awesome. Their office is gorgeous. IMO If you don't like them you probably aren't a fan of Disney movies, puppies, or life in general.

Experienced Mom here who had a a great nanny before she fell in love, got married, and moved to Ohio. Damn her. :-) I reached out to several agencies and Cambridge happened to present the nanny I liked best. I hired her. My take on Cambridge is they're nice, down to earth, normal, cool women who bring their senses of humor and enthusiasm along with their professionalism. I chose their contingency search which meant that they they didn't charge me anything until I hired a nanny. Liked that a lot. I'm not fancy or high profile by any means (Live in a bungalow on Ravenswood) . Deciding to have having a nanny was an enormous financial sacrifice for us. From day one I got the sense that Cambridge cared about finding the best nanny for my family and I appreciated their approach. Overall a good experience but when searching for a nanny recommend reaching out to several agencies so you have several options to choose from.
