Founded in 1985, the Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences is an educational institution that offers a range of academic programs in computer information technology, animal science and agricultural communication. It serves more than 500 students in grades 9 through 12. The public school provides various athletic activities, such as baseball, basketball, football, golf, cheerleading, bowling, soccer, swimming, wresting, tennis, and track and field. It has a parent-teacher-student association that organizes meetings. The Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences operates a band, choir and debate club.
