This is a review of the Minute Clinic in this location. I realize now that many people have had bad experiences with Minute Clinics, but didn't know this going in. Minute Clinic advertises that they treat UTIs, so based on symptoms I have experienced before, I showed up at @11:00 a.m. on a Monday, and was asked to come back after 2:30 since they were "going on their lunch break." I was able to come back, and was seen by a NP who was very nice, but after a 15 minute visit which included giving a urine sample, was charged over $200 including the urinalysis. They prescribed (and I didn't notice this until I returned home) only 3 days of antibiotics. I called right away, and after being on hold to their general number (the only number they will give you) for over 30 minutes, was connected to some kind of "supervisor" who parroted something about "standard treatment" and would not help me reach the actual NP I had met with. I have had UTIs before and have always been prescribed a minimum of 5 days of treatment, and have read that one of the biggest concerns is under-treating the infection, which can lead to resistant bacteria. After taking the full treatment of 3 days, I still have pain and discomfort, and tried again to call someone to ask if the antibiotic can be extended a couple more days (I have always gotten relief from 5 days treatment.)

Once again I was parroted some blather about "standard treatment of 3 days" in a very condescending way, and no one would help me. So I am out the time, money, and discomfort (to put it mildly) of this inadequate treatment, and have to start all over again with what may even possibly be a worse condition. Reaching anyone who can actually help you after an appointment is virtually impossible, and extremely frustrating and annoying.
