Is the Flying Fox Conservation Fund really about conservation? They actually sell bats into the cruel, exotic pet trade, even taking babies away from their mothers to get top dollar. Bats bond for life so this is especially upsetting. Unsuspecting buyers who purchase these poor bats for upwards of $800 each likely aren't told that the bats will likely be dead within a year because they do not survive when kept as pets.
