Provided by SuperpagesI have had my 1990 Dodge Shadow serviced by Foster Broadway Autotech for the past year and a half. When I first brought it in to have determine the cause of squealing under the hood, they didn't try to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need. They lubricated where needed, offered me a free safety inspection and recommendations. Later on, I took it in on a Sunday because two front tires were going flat. It took them 20 minutes to seal the rims, and the charge was $50.00. On my last visit, I had the oil changed ($30.00 included all fluids topped off and a complete inspection). Of all the repair shops I've used in the past 20 years in Chicago, this has been the best for me. The service is unequaled and I'm very happy with the work done.

Provided by SuperpagesI must respond to the previous review, I am not disputing the word of the reviewer; but I must say that leaving the DVDs in the car was a bad idea, why tempt fate? It seems to me that the owners did resolve the matter, even though it is unfortunate that the incident happened, they did resolve it, even though rightly so it shouldn't have happened. I on the other hand cannot in my wildest dreams imagine that you were threatened with harm by any employee or the owners. I have purchased petrol, and had three different cars serviced there, and have patronized this business for over ten years, and have always had fast, courteous service, every issue repaired correctly the first time. I cannot say enough good about this business, it is five stars in my book.

Provided by YP.comThe worst car service ever and heavily overpriced. I had a problem with my car electrical system. To be specific, brake lights not working. They charged me $120 to repair it. I later found out that it was just a fuse that was missing and took them 2 minutes for repair. I gave them the benefit of the doubt.
After 4 days, I bought a new battery and asked them if they could install it. They said they can. I asked them for a quote and they quoted, guess what folks, 40 bucks!!!! $40 to install a new battery. Come on guys, it takes $10-15 in most of the places. I came home, googled on how to do it and got it done in 10 minutes flat.
They do a really bad job and I hope they go out of business. They have no ethics whatsoever.

Provided by SuperpagesWe took our vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation and left it with them for 24 hours. By the time we picked it up about 25 DVD?s, which my kids watch on long drives, were stolen. We immediately went back and spoke with one of the owners. He promised to make things right, went into his office and left us waiting for about 20 minutes and then backtracked from there. He knows the DVD?s were there when we dropped the vehicle off as he mentioned seeing them. He also mentioned that he was the one to drive the vehicle in for service in the morning and knew that the car had been locked overnight. He said that he sincerely believed that someone from his place stole the DVD?s, as the car had not been ?broken into, nor were other items stolen, but still did not reimburse the cost of them to us. I even took my 7 and 8 year old there after my initial conversation, and had them look him in the eye and ask why someone stole from them and why he wasn?t making the situation right. We went back to the business 48 hours later as requested by the owner, he had said that he thought he could retrieve the stolen merchandise by then. Not only did he not have the stolen merchandise to return, or offer a settlement to try making the situation right, but he threaten to harm me if I told anyone about the experience.
