Its consumer protection division protects businesses victimized by fraud, deception and unfair business practices. Its work is carried out by several bureaus, such as consumer fraud, charitable trust, franchise, health care, public utilities and veterans rights. The office also advocates for an end to domestic violence and sexual assault.
