Established in 1974, Johnnie Colemon Institute is chartered by the state of Illinois and is a part of the Universal Foundation for Better Living. It administers the Better Living Program and various correspondence courses. The institute organizes teacher, counselor, ministerial and leadership training sessions and seminars. Johnnie Colemon Institute conducts classes in the fields of truth principles, bible metaphysics, meditation, prayer, prosperity, healing, self-discovery, yoga, meditation and relationships. It is one of the organizations operated by the Christ Universal Temple, which offers spiritual baptism and christening services. Christ Universal Temple maintains satellite empowerment centers for teaching living skills to the residents of Chicago and northwestern Indiana.
