This place is poorly organized. There wasn't water on the tables, the table and chairs were too close together, they had a horrible band, the food came in a very unorganized way, including the main entree arriving in rounds. Everything should have been served together, not 1/3 at a time, followed by another 1/3 and then another every ten minutes. In fact, My half of the table didn't get food until 20 minutes later. Food was so-so. The plates and bowls didn't even match. I have more matching things in my house. Frankly, I could have thrown a much better banquet for a third of the price. You should do the same if you are considering Magnolia. The food was this: mushroom soup, coke/7up, cucumber salad (mizeria) shredded beets, meatballs in gravy, chicken wings (meat was gray), cuts of pork and peppers, two small bowls of mixed vegetables. After opening the bar, the desserts hour d'oeuvres finally came, coffee (cold) being last to arrive. The milk and sugar for the coffee came much later.
